This week!

Opening this Friday :)

The week is here! The week that includes Friday the 13th. Are you superstitious?
It will be a wonderful day for me! The opening for my paintings to be seen at Arriviste in Pittsburgh is Friday the 13th, 2019. WHOOT -- what openings means to an artist? a chance to talk about the work you see I have made. I get nervous, naturally, but please come and say hello!

This show :DO OVERS: Strength in the Recovery:  coming up is very dear to me. It's the liberation of a grief that revealed itself to me at the New Year.
It's September now, and I do love setting this show up, standing back and looking at how I processed this. 
What might be helpful to know while you look at these paintings is that I am not a strictly an oil painter but for a handful of times. These oil paintings were created to cover older found oil paintings. In other words, I have been learning the ins and outs of oil paints! It's a world of complications, but joys within. 
The biggest thing I learned was that I have MUCH MORE to learn, and that's exciting!
